Vista is already pre-installed on the system. Is there a way to install XP
next to Vista?

I think you probably meant 'dual' rather than 'duel' - though you may
indeed get the latter.

You would have to start by buying a copy of XP, unless you have a spare
license not in use and the accompanying install CD.

I always get a chuckle about the dueling OS issue. In any event, yes you
can dual boot XP and Vista. The recommended way is to install the older OS
first, in this case XP, then the newer, but it can be done other way. Just
do a Google Web and Groups search for install XP after Vista or dual boot XP
and Vista for a wealth of info.

First, though, you need to make sure the computer is compatible with XP.
Many manufacturers have certain new models which they are not supporting in
XP - i.e. no drivers.

Well it beats Dueling Banjos any day ;-)

you might consider using VPC2007 and running the xp as a guest os in virtual environment.
less problems that using the dual boot process.
