I want my appointment reminder to pop up even though I don't have.

I want to get the reminder w/o opening outlook b/c I don't really use outlook
for my email but I do use the calendar. Office Suite used to have a calendar
separate from Outlook (cal.exe) that would give the reminder popup w/o having
the application open.

In order for reminders to work, Outlook must be running.
