I think I have a faulty disk...

Well, I had just bought an OEM version (full, not upgrade)
of Windows XP brand new. I booted up the CD and when I got
to the part where it copys the installation files to the
hard disk, it stopped with a copy error (not a stop error).
It said either the file was not correctly copied or it was
unable to copy the file. It says random things every time.
Do I really have a faulty disk?

As an OEM version is for a system without an OS, it's a full version by
definition! You can't upgrade from nothing!
