I see two identical names in address book when I click on "send"

Using Outlook 2002, when I click on the "To" button for a new emai
addressee, I see some of my contacts listed twice identically in th
address book. One is an email address and one is the fax number (o
something else). Since the window is so small I have to examine bot
to see which one to click on for the email address.

How do I keep from listing the names twice so that choosing recipient
is faster?

You can't in Outlook 2002. You have to use the horizontal scroll bar at the
bottom to see which address is which. It's a terrible design.

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
