I see only the url instead of the image except in print view. Why.

What I see when working in Word has changed. I now see the url or field
details instead of images and field results unless I do a print preview. For
example, I see {FORMDROPDOWN} instead of Communications Plan in the document
I am currently working in. I didn't knowingly change any settings. Any
suggestions?
