I need to stop and delete an "enormous" email

I tried to send an "enormous" email with pictures and Outlook doesn't seem to
be able to handle it and Outlook won't let me stop it or delete it. What so
you suggest?

File - Work Offline.
Wait a few minutes.
Delete the message.
If that fails, File - Exit.
Ensure Outlook is no longer running in Task Manager.
Restart Outlook, stay offline.
Try to delete the message.

If that fails, you should share what version of Outlook since that could
affect the steps.
