I need to learn the proper way to type, can anyone provide info?

I need to learn how to type and the basic skills re: typeing, as I have never
learned and my wife says that she could use a refresher course.

Seriously, this is a newsgroup for people with questions related to using
Microsoft Word. You can use Word typing with one finger or you can use it
tpying with all ten. You could try a Google search for "Typing Tutoriasl"
and probably find something to get you started.

There used to be a program called Typing Tutor (probably still exists in
some incarnation), that was an excellent resource for learning to touch-type
on a computer. I learned to touch type on an antique Underwood typewriter..
about 45 years ago. ;-)

"Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing" is another classic. I've never had any idea
who Mavis Beacon was.
