I need to force open a tab in a dialogue box.

I have a photo-editing program ("Exifer")
which I use to add/edit EXIF data to hundreds
of photographs.

To save a lot of work during an extended
editing session it would speed things up if I
could have all relevant tabs opened as the
dialogue boxes are entered.

I need these tabs to default to my selection.

There seems to be no way to do this within
the program, so I wonder if the WindowsXP
registry can be 'tweaked' to achieve this
aim.

Please help, Frank

Your on the wrong track - Your program allows batch editing use that,
Gimp lets you batch edit from the command line

"The Gnu Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) is the chief Free Software
image ... for batch editing EXIF meta data like jhead and ExifTool
(Perl script), ..."

There's no way the Windows registry could possibly be modified to add
features to (in essence rewrite the coding of) a third party
application. If the program doesn't offer the feature set that you
want, replace it with one that does.
