hello all
I have an issue and I hope there is a good solution
To make a long story short I have winxp home installed I decided I wanted to return to factory settings got some really bad advice was told to do an f10 operation on it,. I did it went deader than a doornail
I had a friend of mine fix it for me and I ended up with xp pro on here well now i am not able to do any upgrades or anything.
I want to go back to factory settings any ideas from anyone??

But the problem, Jerry was when I put the cd in and tried to do this, it just sat there and did nothing it went to the blue screen and was frozen.
I had to do a safe boot and go back to before I put the cd in so I was back to square one.

The computer has to boot from cd.. this requires that the boot list in BIOS
has the cd drive ahead of the hard drive..
