i need help with my ping

i play the online multiplayer game Americas Army,im on a
56k modem,have a 2.6 ghz intel celeron cpu, 256mb ddr ram,
and when im playing i have a high ping anywhere between
250-1100,sometimes higher than 1100, sometimes a little
lower than 250, is there anything i can do to get it under
100 or a progam i could use that would help keep it
low,, thanks

Wow,I used to have a ping over 500,Then I got cable,now

my pings in the 25-45 range.Try a different ISP,dude.It's
your dial-up!You can go to >>>start>>>control
panel>>>network connection>>>network connection>>>
right click on the connection you use
icon>>>properties>>>advance tab>>>settings button>>>icmp
tab>>>check box for allow incoming echo
request>>>OK.......This may speed up your ping a bit,but
a faster connection like DSL or cable would be
better.dial-up 56K modem your lucky to run at 45,000
BPS,My cable is running at 2,500,000 BPS.
