I would really apriciate it if somebody could help me
because I am facing a problem with my windows xp home
edition. I don't now how but all the passwords -
administrators -and just other user's are "deleted" or
something else happend. I am trying to have access to my
pc but I can't. Non of my user's accounts are working.
Please I need your help as quickly as you can because on
Wednesday I have to give to my teacher a major project,
but I can't give it to her because I dont have access to
my own pc. I am sending this post from an internet cafe.
Please if you can help me.......

Hi. I have EXACTLY the same thing. and NO ONE knows
anything about it

I try to log in, and the computer instantly logs me back
out again no matter which profile I use.

As I cannot gain access I canot do anything about it.

I presume since we both have the same thing it is a new
virus that hasn't been detected yet.

Microsoft and al other avenues of enquiry have been on no
help.

Anyone out there have a fix?

Thanks,
Carl

it is possible that userinit.exe has been deleted - if
missing you will instantly be logged back out without any
error message. if there are any problems with your profile,
password, security policies or license there should be an
error message. i recently fixed somebodys computer with
this problem, the cause was a virus that had deleted all
exe files on the computer.

in terms of a fix: probably boot off the oem cd or a linux
boot disk or a sysinternals ntfsdos disk and checkout the
\windows\system32 folder. or mount as slave in another
machine, extract user data and then reinstall. reinstalling
over the top should also work leaving your orginal profile
directories intact - if set during oem setup.
