Hi,
I have windows xp professional edition. When I chose
to install windows I choose new installation because I
got the computer from a friend and needed to erase
everything. The installtion was going fine until it said
that I was missing or the file was corrupt. The file
is:<windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. And now when I
restart my computer(this happens on another computer) it
does nothing when i chose to finish windows xp
installation it pop ups with the missing file and if i
choose windows 98 then it says that it is missing win.com
file or something like that. Does anyone have any ideas
of what could be wrong???????????
