I need a small good Image app like gimp etc

Fwiw, unless you need the myriad & sophiticated tools that GIMP
provides, I'd recommend either Irfanview, Picasa2 or XnView. All three
of these allowing varying degrees of modification and batch
modifications in a pretty straight-forward way. I can't vouch for their
respective support on win98se though...

I forgot to mention along with my recommendation of Irfanview, that
version often propagated (3.98) has a batch-related bug. It has since
been rev'd to 3.98*g*. The only place I know of that is offering this
is the irfanview forum:

I think that's the one I got but don't worry about batching, as My
work is individually.
