I need a new CD...how can I get one?

I purchased an XP Pro a while back. Now that I want to reformat my computer,
my CD doesn't work. Does Microsoft offer a program or service that replaces
my CD if I send them back my bad one? I would hate to go out and buy a brand
new one...costs way too much. Again, I have a licensed CD key...I only need
the CD.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

How to Replace Lost, Broken, or Missing Microsoft Software or Hardware

If it was an OEM license, you should contact the computer's
manufacturer.

Find a friend that has the exact same flavor of XP, ie retail or OEM
from the same vendor, and make a copy of their CD. It's the COA that's
unique not the CD other than the CD must match the type of COA.
