i lost the "my computer" file

i took "my computer" off the start menu and was going to use a shortcut to
acess it
but now i can't find the shortcut. i tried searching for it, but realized i
was seaching in my computer.

so basically i need to know how to put another "my computer" shortcut on my
desktop, or find the old one.

Reinstall your computer resolves everything...........
 
Right click the Desktop and select Properties.

Select Desktop tab, click Customize Desktop.

Under Desktop Icons, put a check next to My Computer.

This will put the true system icon of My Computer on the Desktop.

This icon allows your to right click and select Manage to do other things as
well.
