The real problem is a dumbass user (hey, that's the tone YOU set) that
cannot be bothered to search Microsoft's huge support knowledgebase.
From a search at http://support.microsoft.com:

http://snipurl.com/9i3i

The real problem is a user that won't even bother to search the
newsgroups or use a search engine, like Google [Groups], to check on how
other users have solved the same problem that has been repeatedly asked
over and over for something like 2 years now.

http://www.google.com/search?q=+Outlook +block +attachment -Express
http://groups.google.com/groups?q=+Outlook++block++attachment+-Express

One of those hits takes you to http://www.slipstick.com where you'll
find a link to the Attachment Options utility that will add a tab to the
Options window which lets you pick which extensions to allow, which to
block, and even add your own extensions.

Cost you thousands? Yep, sure is a lot of BS. Thinking that e-mail is
a robust and stable file transfer medium, uh huh, real stupid. God
forbid you tell your senders of these highly critical files using a
non-guaranteed delivery medium (i.e., e-mail) to step just a little
outside the box by simply renaming the filename extension to something
else, like using .exx for .exe or .vbx for .vbs, and then you simply
rename the extension back when you save the file.

So what is the real BS here? That you decided to complain rather than
ask for real help. There are solutions. You didn't bother to look or
ask.
