hey
These icons apeared when i installed something and now they wont delete,
anybody got ne ideas?

My psychic advisor is on winter break, so I'll need you to provide more
information. What program did you install and what are the names of the
icons?

Ted Zieglar

The programme is called msn plus, the name of the icons are Travel,Poker,Card
Games, Printer Cartridges, Casino online,Bingo and Website Hosting they all
link 2 websites.

It's hopeless, you might as well throw it out now that you've gotten an Icon
Infection --- it will just get worse and worse til the icons start escaping
from the monitor and ramming themselves up bystanders asses!! Get rid of it
while you can, you don't have much time...

Quick, get rid of it!! The icons are multiplying at this very moment,
preparing to bust out of your computer and up your ./\=hole!
If you're not going to quarantine it, try pouring gasoline on it and
lighting it on fire.

i have the EXACT same problem. I thought i was the only one. I also have
MSN plus, as well as the new MSN Beta. Should i uninstall these?

Sounds like spyware to me. MSN Plus is not a Microsoft
product but looks like a 3rd party application.

I just used google to find that web site.

What you need to do is try Ad-Aware and/or Spybot. Copy
and paste these:

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

There should be a link on the right side for download.com
or from their own site.

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

Link for dowloading is at the bottom of the page. Both
are free and make sure you update them after you install
them. Its best to run them in safe mode since any files
that would be running in the background thats spyware
won't be since your in safe mode.

Word of warning, it is POSSIBLE that by running Ad-Aware
or Spybot that some programs MIGHT NOT run after using
them, such as MSN Plus, search bars, etc. Use at your own
risk.

I use both and have no problems with either. You might
also consider running an virus check too. Try this:
