Can a word document be converted to a template. I have a form that I wanted
to make a template. How or can this be done?

Sure. There are different fields you can even use.

For example, if there is a place for the user's name, I would click there
and go to Insert->Field, select Macrobutton, click on Field Codes, and in the
Field Codes box I would type in "MACROBUTTON NoMacro [Enter your first name
here]" (without the quotes) and continue to put in fields throughout the file
where I want the user to enter text. I would then go to File->Save As, change
the "Save As Type" to a Template (*.dot), give it a name and save it. Then if
I double-clicked on the file or went to File->New and selected the file (if I
saved it to the Templates folder), a new Word document would be created based
on the template. I can then click on the fields and start to type over them.
There are a number of fields you can use. You can do a search for Microsoft
Word Fields for samples and tutorials.

Hope this helps,
Nick
