Ok before i intallled sp1a my computer would boot up on
like 15 seconds. But after i installed it my computer
would litterally take 5 minutes to boot up. I already
downloaded a crap load fo stuff that is supposed to speed
up your computer and i have defraged and the whole nine
yards. So just to make sure i was not crazy i unistalled
servgice pack 1 and wa la my computer was back to booting
up in 15 seconds. Now the problem is, is that i would
like some of the fixes from service pack one but i don't
want my computer to take 5 minutes to boot up. Can any
body help?
know could this be because of sp1 or could it be that an
update afterward is interfering with something else on my
computer

Hi

Have a look on the Windows Update page under 'Installation History' and
uninstall, one by one, in reverse order, the Updates installed since SP1.
See if you still get the same problem after each uninstall. That way you
may be able to find out which Update is the culprit.
