I have been trying to upgrade to AOL 9.0 and I keep
getting this error message"We are unable to download the
AOL files to you computer. In order to download the AOL
files, please check to see if you are logged in with the
same priviliges as Administrator on your PC and start the
download again." The weird thing is, I am logged in as
the administrative account! I contacted AOL 4 times and I
even contacted my computer company and still I cannot
download 9.0. Can anyone out there in techy land help me
please? I am getting so upset! Thank you for even reading
this!

It's funny, I've been hearing a lot of
this "administrator priveleges" issue lately.

It seems one of the new worms messes with the system
registry and changes some administrative settings in the
policy areas.

Did you by any chance get infected??

Regards,

Neil

Greetings --

I'm afraid you'll need to contact AOL's tech support for resolution
of problems with (or caused by) their product; Microsoft has no
control over AOL's product quality (or lack thereof).
