I got an old HP670C, is it worth ?

A friend gave me his old inkjet printer, a HP670C; is it worth to buy the 2
cartridges it needs even for getting on ? They cost 35 + 35 euro, I have
the impression
it is better to buy a new printer with cheaper cartridges.

That's an old printer, I wouldn't waste the money.

Seconded You will be able to buy a printer for the same price as the carts
complete with ink, and even some other goodies. But not one with cheaper
Cartridges as they just cost more and more

My dealer told me that there are new Epson printers whose cartridges cost
8 euro ; he wasn't precise but the total cost of a complete set shoud be

(black + 3*color)*8 euro = 32 euro

isn't it ?

See these all the time for $1 USD in the computer recycle shops. It's not
worth it.
