how can i get microsoft word if it didnt come with my computer??? help i need

You will have to buy it.
I am not sure what is cheaper, an Academic version, which as a student you
would be entitled to purchase or to get Works Suite. See:

Also, depending on the complexity of your report, you might find WordPad
adequate, which does come with Windows (Start - Programs - Accessories -
WordPad). For simple formatted text, WordPad can work fine. If you need
things like page numbers & footnotes, however, you will need to get
something akin to Word.

is a decided bargain. You can get it from Amazon.com for $89 (with free
shipping), and there is a $20 Microsoft rebate in effect till January 1,
2006, reducing the effective price to $69.
