I can't share folders

I am trying to share a folder but keep getting an error, the server service has not yet been started. I ran services.msc, but there is NO SERVER SERVICE LISTED. Is there anyway I can get it back so that I can turn it on????

First, run the XP Network setup wizard ... this should do all you need.

This will restore the Server Service (lanmanserver).
Network Connections | Right click Your Connection | Properties |
General tab | Check: File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks |
