I cant send an attachment with email

Hi I am having a problem sending and email attachment.A message appears stating that the message has to be broken down,also on changing my settings i still can not send the attachment.Please help the file I am trying to send is of my birthday to my family in europe and its about 3 minutes long (it is the happy birthday song and cake cutting)
 
How big is the attachment, perhaps the attachment size is restricted by your
ISP.

Suggest you contact your ISP and ask them what their file size limit is.
16MB in one go is probably *FAR* too big. This is nothing to do with Windows
or OE. If your ISP won't allow files of that magnitude, then there is
nothing you can do about it (except compress it some more or use a
compression applet, such as WinZip or WinRAR, to break it down into more
manageble chunks).
 
Put it onto a cd, and send the cd to Europe.. it would take forever to send
a file that large via e-mail, and forever to receive it at the other end..

Unless both sides were running broadband at a decent speed. I can send huge
files to my uncle because we're both running 2Mbps. A 16MB file would take
me 3 minutes 20 seconds to send, but only 1 minute 20 seconds for my uncle
to download
