I recently did a system restore and installed new updates, but now, I don't see the grey bar at the bottom of the page that lets you know that a page is loading. The one that has a blue w/green round icon on to bottom right and an IE icon on bottom left. I've tried desperately to figure out how to restore this bar, but no luck. I constantly click buttons twice because I can't tell when the page is loading. Thanks! Will someone please help me?

Hi

Do you mean the Status Bar? If so - open Windows Explorer, go to
View>Status Bar. The go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on 'Apply to
All Folders'. This will enable the Status Bar in IE as well.

IE - View menu - Status bar
If you want it to show permanently, do the same in
WindowsExplorer - Tools menu - Folder Options - View tab -
Apply to all Folders
