I can't see pics in Normal pane

i cant see my photos (jpeg or otherwise) while in the Normal pane / edit
mode. I can see them when viewing presentation. Anyone know why? Is there
a checkbox or something i dont know about?
 
im using PP 2003 and i can everything as normal except the pics...its
weird...not sure if its PP related or a video card thing....i using a new
dell powerstation dual xeon processing computer with a nVidia Quadro FX 3000
card.....hmmmm...any thoughts?
 
Ok, then the first thing to do is go to Help/Check for Updates and install
SP-1 for Office 2003. It's a critical update for PPT 2003, as it resolves
most of these "pix not showing" problems.

well i tried that...still no result...it's very weird...i can see the pics in
every view pane and the slide show...just not in normal pane....im at a
loss....i noticed that there is an Adobe coversion tool box....could this
have anything to do with it?...
