Hi everyone:

I bought a new computer from MDG last week and initially had problems with
Windows starting - took it back and they reloaded windows. Now I can't get
my new Lexmark printer connected to the computer (it was connected when I
took it back for repairs) - can anyone help me pls??? Also got new
multimedia compter speaker and can't get any sound from it - it is plugged in
and hooked up!!!

I also can't find my product key when I'm rgistering Microsoft Word - the
number I'm entering keeps showing as incorrect!!!! Where is the product key
I'm supposed to enter?

Thanks,

If they reinstalled WinXP then you will have to reinstall the Printer
Drivers and probably the Audio Device Drivers.
Your Product Key should be on the back of the CD. The Drivers should
be on the System Recovery Tools CD.
You should also have a Manual which will cover installing drivers.
If not check here.

In order to view this you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you
don't have one go here and download the free version

a) Printer - reinstall drivers, a reinstall will require the drivers be
reinstalled - it won't automagically have the add-ons you put on the
computer after you bought it.
b) Speaker - same may be true for the audio card/driver.
c) The Word Product-Key will either be on the CD Case/Cover itself (bright
orange sticker) if retail version or on the Certificate of Authenticity
(COA) on OEM version (A piece of paper with a silverish/bluish/greenish
sticker depending on how the light hits it).
