I can't enter orders in the Orders Database

I am having a hard time with my orders database. I created a database with
the wizard in Access 2000 and then attempted to use it. I was able to enter
one order in the order form and then got an error saying" You cannot add or
change a record because a related record is required in the table 'Orders'" I
don't know what to do. If anyone out there can help me I would really
appreciate it. My computer has been giving me "bad human" messages and I
would like to show it a thing or two.

Without knowing just how you've set up the form or what you're doing
it's hard to be sure. Are you in fact entering data on the Orders
mainform before trying to enter order details on the OrderDetails
subform? What are the Recordsource properties of your form and of your
subform?
