No one can help you when you haven't provided any information about your
computer or your Internet connection. Review these links and then post
again with the necessary details:

Last chance:

If I had wanted to pull teeth, I would have become a dentist. Either go
to the links and read what details to include in your next post OR hope
that someone else comes along and feels like guessing about your
situation OR /Yellow_Pages/Computer_Repair.

Quoting from the first link that Malke posted:

# If you are getting error messages, include the exact text in the error
message. If there is a "Details" button, click it and copy/paste the
error message itself into the post. If you are using Windows Millennium
Edition (Windows Me) press Atl+D to bring up the detailed error message.
For XP, if there is an Event ID and Source, include it as well.
# Tell if an error occurs when doing some action or using some
particular software.
# What changed in your system shortly before the problem occurred?
Knowing about a setting change or added software or hardware may be
helpful in solving the problem.
# Briefly describe your machine, video card, CPU, amount of RAM, hard
drive size and amount of free space.
# Identify clearly the steps and procedures you have already used to try
to fix the problem.
# Proof-read and spell-check the post before sending.

Have you still got the packaging your computer came in? Good. Now pack it
up, return it to where you bought it, and ask the nice man if he will swap
it for a playstation......

It's certainly worth mentioning that "ineedhelp"

99%

it
doesnt load

Make a note of the folder it downloads to (just before the download starts),
open up that folder after the download and click on the file.

Much better. Still hard to read, but tolerable.

Your next step is to thoroughly check for malware since you were doing
file-swapping with Limewire. Malware is one of the prime causes of
connectivity issues on Windows machines.

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Include scanning with either Sysclean or Multi_AV, plus Ewido. Do all
prep/finishing work and follow instructions to do all scans in Safe
Mode.

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the
specialty forums listed at the link above (not here, please).

After you have gone through all those procedures, if you need help
(except for HijackThis logs which should *not* be posted here), then
your next post should include what you did and the results. Please use
paragraphs, punctuation, and capitalization. We are not giving you
grades for your use of the English language, but the point of using
newsgroups from your perspective is to get help. You want to make it
*easy* for people to help you. Savvy?

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).
