OK, then, if I were in your shoes, I'd do the following:
Create a new PST with File>New>Outlook Data File and make that PST your
delivery location at the bottom left of Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next. This
will cause Outlook to create brand-new default folders. The, open each of
the old default folders in turn, select all the items (usually CTRL-A does
the job after clicking once on any one item, but you might have to switch to
By Category view for the Calendar), then right-click on any item and choose
Copy. Select the corresponding folder in the new PST as the destination and
click OK. After the default folders are done, you can copy any other
folders you had created in the old PST by right-clicking on the folder,
choosing Copy, and selecting the new PST as the destination. Once all your
items have been moved, you can right-click the old PST and choose Close.
If this doesn't work (although I believe it likely that it will), start with
a new mail profile (Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>Add) and point it at
your current PST.
