E Earl Kiosterud Jan 12, 2005 #2 R, Look for "EXT" in the right side of the status bar. Toggle it back off with F8. THat's how it got turned on, most likely.

G Gord Dibben Jan 12, 2005 #3 What happens, or doesn't happen when you try? Any alert or error message? Is the sheet protected? Does the CTRL key work for other function, like CTRL + to bring up the Insert dialog? Or CTRL + Pagedown and Pageup to swap sheets? Gord Dibben Excel MVP
