Have you contacted your ISP/mail provider?

Ah sorry, I am using Outlook 2003. Dont know about the OS, Service Pack level.
Full error message:- Find incoming mail server (POP3) outlook could not
connect to the incoming mail server (POP3). the problem could be the server
name or port, or your server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL
settings under the advanced tab.

Find Outgoing mail server (SMTP) outlook could not connect to the incoming
mail server (POP3). the problem could be the server name or port, or your
server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings under the
advanced tab.

Hey Tom,

I dont know who they are? We just have a company that we contacted called
circles, but they told us to look for some IT help, we dont have a IT
department its a small company!
We dont want to be charged, if someone could just tell us the correct
settings.

Have you gone to your Email provider's website and checked the setting that
you should be using? (VERY carefully!)

Hard to say what the correct settings are without knowing who the provider
is. Cases in point:

For my 'pacbell.net' email accounts, outgoing is 'mail.pacbell.net',
incoming is 'pop.att.yahoo.com:995' w/SSL.

For my AOL email accounts, outgoing is 'smtp.aol.com:587', incoming is
'imap.aol.com:993' w/SSL.

For my Yahoo! Mail (Japan) accounts, outgoing is 'smtp.mail.yahoo.co.jp:465'
w/SSL, outgoing is 'pop.mail.yahoo.co.jp:995' w/SSL.

I can also use outgoing 'kozue:26', and incoming 'megumi'. Depends upon the
provider, and how they set up their servers for user connections.

Without knowing who provides your email service, there is no way to know
even where to point you for assistance. I can post links to the Yahoo! Mail
help pages, or the Windows Live Hotmail help pages, but those would be
useless to you if you don't use Yahoo! Mail, or Windows Live Hotmail.

If your e-mail service provider (ESP) does not support SSL connects then
you should not have configured the e-mail account in Outlook to use SSL.

Did you enter the correct name for the POP and SMTP mail hosts in the
correct fields in the e-mail account that you defined in Outlook?

What port did you specify for the POP and SMTP mail hosts? Does it
match what their web help pages say to use?

Whomever pays their bill will know. Who decided to use them? Who sends
them the check? Businesses do not use free e-mail accounts. Someone is
getting paid for their e-mail service, so follow the money.

Only the e-mail service provider knows what are the currently correct
settings for accessing their mail hosts. Since you are already paying
them for that service then support is included to call them and ask.

If "circles" is some 3rd party that setup the e-mail service then ask
"circles" just WHO is that e-mail provider. The mail hosts that you
specified in your e-mail account defined in Outlook probably indicate
who is the e-mail provider. If "circles" won't provide any information,
go find yourself an e-mail provider and demand a refund from "circles"
for services unfulfilled and file in conciliatory court.
