I cannot make Outlook my default E-mail program

I am trying to insert video into an email and get a message "To run this
program you need to make Outlook your default e-mail program"

When I check in Outlook>Options>Other>General: The Checkbox that controls
this already has a tick in it.

Also if i click on a Link from a web page to send someone an Email , Outlook
Express opens up.

Can any one help?

Which e-mail client is listed in Internet Options -> Programs -> Email?
 
open up internet explorer cllick on tools and then select internet options
in the menu and then click on the programs tab and then in the default mail
client please select microsoft outlook and then click on apply you should
not have any issues
