Chuck
I have two computers I would like to setup on a LAN.
PC A (personal computer A) has been set up on this LAN
before and has successfully connected to windows 98,
windows ME, and windows 2000.
Currently I can see PC B under 'view workgroup
computers', however when I select to open PC B I get a
message about it not being accessible
PC B has not been on a network before. Every time I go
to 'view workgroup computers' there is a long period
before the window opens. When the window opens nothing
is in it.
Both PC's successfully connect to the internet at the
same time. Both have guest accounts enabled, have been
pinged from other, both have 'File and Print Sharing for
Microsoft Networks' installed, TCP/IP protocols
installed, and 'Client for Microsoft Networks' installed.
I am using two different builds of Windows XP home that
are fully updated.
To email me, add the number four before the @ symbol at

Thank you for any help
