I can not change the default ruler measurement to inches.

I tried changing my ruler measurement to inches but it won't work. In fact,
no matter what measurement I choose the ruler measurement stays the same.

Is there some setting I need to change other than—on the Tools menu, click
Options, and then click the General tab; in the Measurement units box, click
the option you want?
