I am using PDF'd Excel charts in my Powerpoint presentations and the
resolution is hardly readible. How can I improve this? Do I need to use
something beside PDF's? Is there a way to improve the resolution and clarity
within Powerpoint? Please provide me with any/all options available.

Thanks in advance,

Sonia,

We have the full version of Adobe with which we convert our excel files into
pdf files for our presentations. What is happening is that our charts, which
are very detailed and have a ton of graphics and text on them, are turning
out blurry. Thus our presentations are hampered by illegible text. We have
tried the PNG method of which the article you recommended referred. The
original excel file is clear and sharp...but once we convert the file into a
png or a tiff and insert it into Powerpoint, the resolution quality goes to
pot.

Thanks again for your patience in this!

Sonia,

Sorry about starting a new thread...I wasn't familiar with the protocol. As
ignorant as it may sound, I have tried to import the Excel files directly
with no success and assumed they had to be in a PDF format. What are the
procedures for inserting them directly? When I tried it, only portions of
the excel chart was transferred and it was in disarray. Our excel charts
have both graphical and textual components. I really appreciate your help
with this Sonia.

Sonia,

Thanks for the help...you have helped me considerably and I am now back in
business with the PP. The issue has been resolved with those references you
gave me. Thanks so much!

Sincerely,
