Oh, and as for the incoming email scan, if your AV provides real time, on
access scanning, this is totally redundant and just a marketing ploy.

After furious head scratching, Barry asked:
| I have found this same answer on 4 different boards - all posted by
| the same user. First, If I follow this advice then I have no
| incoming email scan ... which I would like to maintain. Second:
| Doesn't MS (or someone) have a real answer to this problem yet? I
| have seen this question and answer as far back as March '04. Also,
| the problem appears to happen with just about any Virus Protection
| package. I am using Trend Micro PC-cillin 2005. In my book that makes
| it Microsoft's problem to fix.
|
| Thanks,
| Barry
