I am receiving multiple duplicates of the same email

I have been receiving multiple (sometimes hundreds!) duplicates of the same
email. The problem is not with the ISP as I also have my mail forwarded to
web-based mail programs and am not receiving duplicates. I ran detect and
repair, but it didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook and it was
fine for a couple of days, but then the duplicates started showing up again.
Also, when this begins to happen, I get errors in receiving at scheduled
send/receive intervals, and then the duplicates start rolling in. Thanks in

If you expect help, you have to, at the very least, state your Outlook
version and the account type.
 
Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5606); Account type? Don't
understand what that means.
