I know. I try to restrain myself, but some things trigger me more than others.
I've worked with people who would put the entire contents of their emails
in the subject line if it would fit.
One also has to remember that clear communication is an art. In fact, the ability
to communicate ideas well might be one of the greatest skills a person can possess.
One might ask, "Got accrual templates?" or one could say something like ...
"I am using Access 2007 and I've been searching for a database template that
that will work for what I'm calling my Accruals application. It's a business
tool for ..."
In retrospect, I realized the poster probably wants an Access 2007 template
and doesn't realize that the word "accruals" isn't enough for people to go on.
Not to mention that the subject line probably doesn't allow enough room for all
that needs to be said.
