I'm using hyperterminal and it's working perfectly but there's this problem
I've had with it for a long time and on different machines. When text
scrolls onto the next page it corrupts the text. Here's a pic of the
problem, it should just shows zeros all the way up but somehow it remembers
text that has long since gone and mixes that up with what it should display.
The text in the white section is always perfect but pretty much always get
corrupted when it scrolls into the gray section.

I've just got it set to ANSI terminal.

Thanks for any replies,
Michael

Try other emulations, such as VT100
Try different line wrap/width settings, if available
Try Hyperterminal Private Edition,(a free upgrade) if not already in use ...

I've tried every option.

That I hadn't tried.

Thanks, installing pe seemed to fix it, although the problem does come and
go so I'll have to wait a couple of days to see if it's really gone.
