hyperterminal backscroll buffer lines

Rosa,
Sorry for my earlier post, it was not helpful. If the options don't
allow increasing the buffer size past 500, there might be a way to edit the
registry, but I'd have to find it and I don't have hyperterminal on this PC.
Caution must be used when editing the registry - if you're not comfortable
doing it, then don't risk it.

Hi Robert:

Hyperterminal scroll buffer is fixed and no amount of registry editing
is going to help. What might help Rosa (I hope she reads this) is to
go to www.hilgraeve.com and download the enhanced version of
Hyperterminal. The enhanced version is called Hyperterminal PE (for
personal edition). It's a free download. It's been a while since
I've used it - I'm now using Net Term - so I can't remember if the
scroll buffer is greater than 500 lines or not.

Hope this helps somewhat. Good luck.

The P.E. version has a variable scroll buffer that here is set to 500 lines.
