I inserted a hyperlink of a web page into a message and
although it hilighted blue it does not give me the
ability to launch the page, can anyone help please

You can highlight the entry and then right click on it and then click copy and then paste it in the address bar of an open browser window. Some programs do not allow the pasting of copied links into their pages as a safety feature. If this is a matter of just not working for you then you can go>start\run and type in regsvr32 /i urlmon.dll and click ok or hit enter on your keyboard and see if the URL Monitor is perhaps not working. Be sure to put the space after 32 and after the /i . Without more details I'm kinda fishing in the dark here. Good luck.{:~)

Hi, Sanny.

The links don't work in the Compose window. That is, in the message that
you are currently drafting. Once you Send the message, the link should work
for the recipient.

There are at least a couple of ways to test the link. One, of course, is to
send the message containing the link to yourself. Another is to click the X
to close the message draft; when asked if you want to save the changes, say
Yes. OE will save the message in your Drafts folder. Click on the Drafts
folder to display the message in your Preview Pane and click the link there;
it should work. But don't double-click in the message listing; that will
open it in the Compose window for further editing - and you're back where
you started.
