Hyperlinks wont open from outlook express

Strange, when I click on a link with an email or Usenet posting, the link
wont open.
Firefox is default browser.
Any ideas what is happening?

Recent repair install of XP
 
What problem were you experiencing that you hoped a Repair Install of
Windows would resolve? Did it? Did this problem exist before you did the
Repair Install? Are you running IE7?

Make IE the default browser in Internet Options, Programs tab, then make
Firefox default in Tools, Options, General tab, "Check Now" button.
This might correct the associations for url, http and other links,
necessary. You might reboot between changes, if not restart the
browsers, and only have one running during the changes so the changes
"take".

Worked like a charm, thanks Joe
 
If IE7 is installed, IE needs to be selected as the default browser in Set
Program Access and Defaults.
