All of a sudden, I am having trouble creating hyperlinks, which I create daily. I have no idea what could cause this and can’t find an appropriate topic under the help menu. When I click on the grayed out [Hyperlink] button I get the message “This feature is disabled because it is not compatible with Microsoft Word 6.0/95. The [Tell Me More] only shows a blank screen.

Somewhere under Tools > Options is a checkbox for disabling features not
supported in older versions. Perhaps this has been checked by accident.

Thanks - under Tools/Options/Save was a feature that somehow got checked that is "Disable Features Introduced After Windows 95". However, puzzling is that under the "About Microsoft Office Word" button, there is a button to display "Disabled Features;" nothing was reported under there. Thanks again!
