Hyperlinks not working properly from a table

I have one database that works and another that sits
inside a web where the hyperlinks do not work.

Any workarounds?
 
Can we get more explanation of your problem? Although I am female and
usually have good insights, my swammi satellite is failing me.
 
Yes of Course. I have a backend table that has a hyperlink
field that errors out when I try to open the hyperlink.
This same setup works fine in a backend that is not part
of a web folder. But when I try the same hyperlink in a
database that resides inside a web, it will not allow a
hyperlink to go beyond the confines of the web folder even
though the file I am linking to is on the same server and
the same volume and same drive.

It seems to be related to web security or an access
restriction of somekind or ?
