Hyperlinks in Outlook open very slow

I am using Outlook to read my POP email not Outlook express. When ever I
click on a hyperlink from my email it takes a very long time for IE to open
then it takes a long time to open the URL. If I copy the link directly in
to IE no problem.

While sipping a glass of wine, I read that NML wrote in

Once IE is triggered and starts to open its no longer a outlook issue.
Run scans for spyware, clean cookies and temp files. restore all security
settings to default. internet options.

I just set up Outlook Express and hyper links open just fine. I really
rather use Outlook instead of Outlook Express.
