Is there any way to stop Outlook 2003 opening new windows when clicking on
hyperlinks? I want it to re use an already open browser.

Thanks

If you are using IE, go to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced and ensure the
box saying "reuse windows for launching shortcuts" is checked. Other
browsers probably have the same option somewhere in their options or
preferences.

Hi Milly, I do have this option ticked. It works for other applications,
like Outlook Express, but not for Outlook :(

Are you saying that when you have a email open in the Outlook box and there
is a hyperlink inside the body of that email, you would like to have that
hyperlink open in the same window where your email is shown in Outlook with
the hyperlink

Hi Peter,

opens another IE.

Any ideas?

Hi Peter,

I've tried what Milly said, even unsetting and resetting, but it still
doesn't work.

Have you tried closing and reopening Outlook/IE?

Hi Milly,

Yes I've tried this, I've rebooted a couple of times since as well.

Is this Outlook 2k3's default behaviour? Or should this do what I want to
do?

It works fine on my Outlook with the IE settings as stated.
