When I click on the hyperlinks in Word documents on my
Web site I receive a message as follows.

"This document have been modified. Do you want to save
changes? Yes-Save your changes, No-Discard your changes,
Cancel-Keeps this document open."

How can I eliminate this message?

This doesn't happen when I use HTM files. However, in
many cases I need to use Word documents rather than HTM
files since HTM files distort the graphics when copied
from Word files.

Thanks,

Hi Ken,

The only reason I can think of for your graphics appearing distorted in HTM
files compared to Word is if you've changed their aspect ratio in Word. You
can test this in Word by selecting a graphic and using Format|Object (or
Picture, etc)|Size and comparing the current and original sizes, and the
scaling of both. If the scaling, in particular, isn't equal, you might find
that you'll get better results by changing the scaling to suit in a graphics
editor, then using the scaled image in both Word and your HTM files.

Perhaps not the answer you were looking for, but it might provide a better
way of dealing with the problem.

Cheers
