For some reason, when I click on a hyperlink inside a certain program, Internet Explorer does not open. Also, when I click on Start > Run... and I type a web address (e.g. http://microsoft.com/) it says:

http://microsoft.com
The specified path does not exist.

Check the path, and then try again.

I am using Windows XP Home (SP2)
This problem seem to have happened after I uninstalled "MyIE2"

Thanks,
Mark S.

Mark,

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs > "Reset Web Settings"

If that does not help, try this fix:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IE_Default_Browser.reg
Edit the file to match the drive letter where Windows is installed (default set to C:\)

You're welcome Mark. BTW, MyIE2 has an option called "Restore last default browser", that also helps! Before uninstalling MyIE2, it's advisable to use that option (For your information)
