I am using Word2000 and Excel2000 in Windows XP.

I'm trying to create a hyperlink to a specific named range
in a particular worksheet within the Excel workbook. I've
not been able to find a way to
1. either bookmark the section of the spreadsheet that
I want to hyperlink to
or

2. find a way of hyperlinking to a named range in Excel

Based on some older documentation, it seems that Word97
would allow a hyperlink to a named range in Excel.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be greatly
appreciated.

Hi Sharon,

Have you tried Insert/Hyperlink? Select the Excel file, then
position your cursor just after the "....xls". Type a hash
(#) then the range name. Roughly:

C:\\test.xls#Data
